República Dominicana registra una tasa de 8.57 casos de dengue por cada 100,000 habitantes, una de las más bajas entre los territorios incluidos en una comparación regional difundida por el Ministerio de Salud Pública.
De acuerdo con los datos estadísticos presentados por la institución, la tasa dominicana se encuentra por debajo del indicador correspondiente al conjunto de las Américas, situado en 158.1 casos por cada 100,000 habitantes durante el período analizado.
La incidencia registrada en República Dominicana es aproximadamente 95 % inferior a la reportada para el conjunto de las Américas, según los datos del Ministerio de Salud Pública.
