Expertos costarricenses abogaron este jueves en el Día Mundial de la Salud por dar prioridad a la salud mental como pieza fundamental del bienestar integral de la población y que ha sido impactada por la pandemia de la covid-19.
“Si no se presta atención a la salud mental, esta puede verse gravemente afectada. En los últimos años, a raíz de la pandemia y las crisis sociales en el mundo, hemos visto una afectación mucho más evidente de la salud mental y de las implicaciones que tiene en el bienestar integral”, dijo la psicóloga del Centro de Salud Mental Herrera Amighetti del Hospital Metropolitano de Costa Rica, Susana Zelaya.
