Empresarios muestran sus preocupaciones sobre temas electorales
A pesar de que el sector empresarial reconoce la labor realizada por la Junta Central Electoral (JCE) en el recién finalizado proceso de elecciones municipales, muestra preocupaciones respecto a la próxima contienda para elegir al presidente y representantes del poder legislativo.
El Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (Conep) y la Confederación Patronal de la República Dominicana (Copardom) ofrecieron al Listín Diario su valoración del recién concluido proceso de elecciones municipales indicando que hay temas que deben repensarse para mejorar, entre estos la pertinencia de mantener dos elecciones separadas, la extensiónm alcance y costo de las campañas, el alto costo de las campañas, alta abstención, y la necesidad de dotar de contenido el debate electoral.
El vicepresidente del Conep, César Dargam, dijo que el desafío de la Junta para las próximas elecciones es “velar por el cumplimiento efectivo de la ley, esto incluye que se respeten los plazos establecidos, y la transparencia en el uso de recursos”.
